Meet Stinky. Better yet, ID him. - Nezara viridula

My granddaughter found this green stink bug in the driveway, apparently drawn by the 500 watt halogen light we were using to practice martial arts. If memory serves, those two small black spots have some significance. So what's Stinky's real name?

We would suggest
Nezara viridula - Southern Green Stink Bug, based upon Boris's research on identification clues.
