Whip Scorpion

Whip Scorpion "Vinegaroon"? - Mastigoproctus giganteus
Deming, Luna County, New Mexico, USA
August 6, 2008
Size: 4"+
While trimming some dead branches from our Virgina Creeper, look what I found. 3 weekes earlier, I found a little one of the same kind on the patio.

Mastigoproctus giganteus
And a very large one at that! Awesome find, Ghanem. I hope this is added to the guide...the Vinegaroon page could use some more images of this species.

Thank you
Thank you Brett, appreciate it; this will be really great idea. After all the rain that we had here finally in Deming, NM, all kinds of different bugs/insects start to show up. I will take more pictures of the new bugs in the yard and post it as well.
