Coleoptera - Pandeleteius hilaris

Coleoptera - Pandeleteius hilaris
Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
August 6, 2008
Size: ~5-6mm
Looks like a Broad Nosed Weevil (Subfamily Entiminae). That's about the best I can do for now.

Looks like Pandeleteius
P. hilaris seems to be the only species in the Northeast.

I agree
Pandeletius is represented in the East by two species, one of which occurs only in southern Florida. So any Pandeletius from east of the Mississippi and north of South Florida will be P. hilaris.

Thanks Skip, Mike!
Hmmm... I seem to have the only other images of this weevil in the guide. I'll add these as well.
