True Bug - Reduvius personatus

True Bug - Reduvius personatus
Pullman, Whitman County, Washington, USA
May 5, 2022
Size: about 1 cm
discovered this bug on the stem of a newly bought orchid and suspect it came with it, hidden in the planting material. Never noticed this particular bug before. The orchid dropped all its blossoms more or less at once which makes me suspect that the bug was sucking on the stem.
