Andricus quercuspetiolicola

Andricus quercuspetiolicola
Parkwood, Durham, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
May 1, 2022
Size: 1 cm
Distinctive oblong galls on midrib of white oak (Quercus alba) leaves of sapling. Maybe something like an Andricus?

I discarded these specimens, but I can get more from the same tree, I think. Can cut them open or whatever!
