When the species description
When the species description talks about the equal length of the spurs on the "fore tibia" does that refer to the spurs on the leg closest to the head? (Tibia of the foreleg?) Or the placement of the spurs being on the end of the tibia closest to the foot?

Thanks for your help! This is a new March Fly species for my yard!

 
Front leg
The relative lengths of the two spurs at the tip of the tibia of the front leg. The outer spur (away from the body) is long, the inner spur can be very short to as long as the outer.
