Fruit fly - Strauzia - male

Fruit fly - Strauzia - Male
Naperville, Dupage County, Illinois, USA
May 31, 2022
Size: 4-5mm
I'm seeing a couple different yellow fruit fly types in the woody area behind my garage. Google lens is not giving me a good match for this one. As windy as it was it was amazing that I was able to get these shots. Hoping the quality is good enough to help with an ID. Thank you!

Strauzia-like
Male Strauzia (and some others) have those enlarged bristles on the head.

Thanks!
The dark solid pattern on the wings was throwing me, but now a closer look at examples of that genus is turning up similar types in a couple of the species.
