Size: ~15 mm
I know there are plenty of photos of this species up already, but this is such a lovely beetle. It should definitely have a common name.

I've always known it as the Pleasing Fungus Beetle. That's also the name that Art Evans uses in his book
Field Guide To Insects and Spiders of North America
.
It's such a fun name.

That's what I've known it as...
But it turns out that Pleasing Fungus Beetle is good for the whole family.

Humpty Dumpty Erotylidae
Don't know if there are official common names for the beetles but I have seen this one called that in the subject line.
