Springtail in pool

Springtail in pool
Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota, USA
April 26, 2022
This spring I've spent a fair amount of time staring at small pools, and I've often seen what appear to be dead pinkish springtails floating on the surface, often surrounded by what looks like blue body fluid. Any insight as to what's going on would be appreciated.

Poduromorpha
Could be Hypogastruridae or Pseudachorutinae.
When Collembola jump on a watersurface some will get trapped in the watersurfacefilm. This happens with specimens of species that are not adapted for a life on the watersurface.
