Spotted Peppergrass Moth - Eustixia pupula

Spotted Peppergrass Moth - Eustixia pupula
Bolivar Peninsula, Galveston County, Texas, USA
May 24, 2022
This constitutes only the 2nd image of a larva of this species on BG. This image is severely cropped from a wider image of the whole peppergrass plant; I hadn't noticed the larva at the time I was photographing the plant. The present larva is an earlier instar of the species. It matches Dyar's 1900 description of the sixth instar. Compare with this 7th instar:

We have some cats that have been bugging us
listed in a spreadsheet, so these were easy to find.

What do you think of these?

Likely Spotted Peppergrass Moth
I'd say all three of these are strong candidates for Eustixia pupula. The first two match the published description of last instars very well. The third one, on peppergrass, is probably an earlier instar. I'd suggest moving all three! Great sluething! How did you do that so quickly?
