I'm sure of the genus - Aristotelia and I think it is closest to Hodges 1762 - Aristotelia rubidella. Really nice photos. Isn't that 65mm Canon lens great?

I had to chuckle when I saw the only two images in Bug Guide of this moth were from Tom Murray :^) I think Tom has photographed just about every bug on this continent!

As for the Canon MP-E65, I couldn't be happier!

Yes, Tom's been at it for a while and I'm always happy when I've found one he hasn't found. One looks for small triumphs where one can. BYW, your image must be rather fresh as it's very nicely marked.
