Scotinella pugnata--voucher image - Scotinella pugnata - Female
Swan Lake Wildlife Management Area-North Star Unit, Nicollet County, Minnesota, USA
June 6, 2022
Found while sifting through some Cottonwood leaf litter. I had difficulties finding a match or even keying this individual out with SONA, assuming it was a Linyphiid. Note the proximal apophysis on the palpal femur and prominent tibial apophysis. The distal apophysis is more slender and longer than in S. minnetonka. Keyed out with Dondale & Redner, 1982.
