This larva was making a burrow in a sand dune similar to the burrows of adult hister beetles.

Moved, Eusattus larva actually look very similar to Coniontis...
And the dune habitat is consistent with Eusattus. Plus, seeing as E.muricatus have been found near you, I have no doubts this is E.muricatus.
