Aphrodite or Atlantis Fritillary ?? -

Would appreciate either a correction or confirmation that the specimen is an Atlantis or an Aphrodite Fritillary. Thanks.

Just learning myself
From comparing this image with both the Atlantis and Aphrodite, I think this matches more the Atlantis
http://www.cbif.gc.ca/spp_pages/butterflies/captions/AtlantisFritillarycap_e.php
might be the middle one, the
(Speyeria atlantis hollandi)
but here is some examples of the Aphrodite

Aphrodite, I think
I'm not an expert, but there is a black spot on the forewing that your specimen has (and aphrodite does) and atlantis does not. What you say about eye color seems to agree. (I've linked your two images, assuming they are photos of the same specimen.)
