i see no NT records, but looks like other options can be ruled out

 
I see no inconsistencies with "Calosoma frigidum".
Unless someone objects, I'll soon add this fine record to the N. Am. Caraboid Registry. Thank you Garry and V.

It looks like the caterpillar hunter Calosoma sayi (a male)...
...Garry you are far north, no Canadian records on bugguide for this species.
