possible tiger beetle? - Opisthius richardsoni
Prince George, British Columbia, Canada
August 13, 2008
Size: 1.2 cm
Moved much like a tiger beetle in short bursts of motion. Also had large eyes. Seemed incapable of flight.

Carabidae.
This is a fine shot of Opisthius richardsoni. Thank you for sharing your images here!
