Little white bug - Acanthocephala

Little white bug - Acanthocephala
Lebanon, Warren County, Ohio, USA
July 4, 2022
I saw this little bug on my basil plant, it seemed to be molting or something because it had something that looked like exoskeleton hanging from its rear. I carefully moved it with a leaf onto my table to get a closer look and whatever was stuck to it fell off. It seemed much livelier afterwards! I have no idea what it is though, so thank you if you can identify it! :)

Assassin bug
The nymph of some kind of assassin bug, a type of hemipteran(true bug).

Not an assassin
Note the tibial dilations, which are not found in assassin bugs. This is the nymph of a leaf-footed bug in the genus Acanthocephala--most likely A. terminalis.
