Small Longhorn beetle? - Tenomerga cinerea

Small Longhorn beetle? - Tenomerga cinerea
Moccasin Lake, Winston, Douglas County, Georgia, USA
August 14, 2008
Size: about 25 mm
I was photographing moths when this fellow caught my eye. Would appreciate any help with ID.

Tenomerga cinereus
(why not cinerea rather? i have no clue)
these guys are not uncommon at my porch lights in NE New Jersey, but it's always a pleasure to see one. The group is about as old as the beetles themselves

Thank you
Thanks, I'll have a look and see if anything matches my photo. I live on a lake and during the summer here in Georgia it is hot, humid and just plain miserable. This is the first one of these I've seen. That's not to say there aren't around, its just this was the first one I noticed.

Reticulated beetle.
This is a nice find: a reticulated beetle. We found one on the Bugguide outing at the U of Tennessee research station.

Thank you
Thanks Eric, I'll have a look at the reticulated beetle. At U of T, was that the only one you saw?
