Size: Wingspan 31 mm BL 8 mm
Eggs were found on the underside leaf of a Hairy Four O'clock (Mirabilis hirsuta) by David Faulkner on July 1, 1016. This adult was raised from one of these eggs. In this image she is still pumping her wings.

To see three views of caterpillars of T. lustrans, please go to #1125268, #1125272 and #1125275. All three are actually Triprocris lustrans, identified by David Wagner.

Moved
Moved from ID Request. I see you have images posted at MPG. If you can go back to your original images and add some 1:1 square cropped images of this species, I suspect Steve Nanz will add them to MPG. We can frass the rectangular images later. If Steve Nanz has not previously told you, it is much easier for him to post images at MPG if they are in a square 1:1 box.

Triprocris lustrans adults in a 1:1 format
I will add these two adult photos in a square format. But within a week or so, I would like to have the square format photos deleted, while still retaining the original photos. Thank you.

Making square images
Tomorrow I will try to find the original images and see if square images are feasible.

All of your images...
...are displaying the same date. Each should be edited to show the date on which the photo was taken.

Thanks!

Changing the date of each image
