I was LUCKY to see this girl. She had balled up some leaves to make a shelter which was over a ditch which has a permanent body of water in it. I brought her home to photograph her.
I've never seen a fishing spider before so I don't know if my guess is correct. She sure is pretty though!

Same Family
It's definitely in Pisauridae, but I don't think this is one of the fishing spiders.

Thanks so much for that ID! I looked and looked at the fishing spider pictures and didn't see a match..... now I know why!
She's a great mom. Never lets go of her eggs. I'm releasing her tomorrow.
