Bed bug or cockroach nymph?

Bed bug or cockroach nymph?
Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA
September 5, 2021
I find these bugs dead on the floor in my hallway, bathroom, and bedroom. I live in a basement apt in a 100 year old building. There are usually a few around the same area. I am worried it is a bed bug. It’s very small, like slightly smaller than an apple seed. It has 2 nubs on its butt (pincers?), a flat back that has subtle horizontal stripes, and 6 legs. It is a light brown/tan to a clear-ish yellow. I think it is a nymph, or just hatched young/immature bug, if that is not the right term. Thank you. If you know what type of roach it is if it is not a bed bug, that would be helpful.

Can't tell you more than that, unfortunately. Hold on to see what others have to say.
