Atomacera decepta Rohwer
This is confirmed. The picture is a male. This species feeds on both hibiscus and hollyhock, though most commonly known as the hibiscus sawfly. Most northern records for hollyhock feeders probably refer to A. decepta. Neoptilia malvacearum occurs only in s. Tex., N. Mex., Ariz., and Mexico.

Moved from Hollyhock Sawfly.
