Phymata fasciata

Phymata fasciata
Occoneechee Mountain State Natural Area, Orange County, North Carolina, USA
June 20, 2005
I saw the dead bumblebee hanging from some Indian Hemp, Apocynum cannabinum and found the Ambush Bug latched on. Amazing how large their prey can be.
