high level, Alberta, Canada
August 16, 2008
They're orb weaver spiders, but i'm not sure what kind. I found them both outside in my yard.

Unlink?
Images of different individual spiders should be unlinked, even if they are probably the same species... I'm assuming that the third image is a different spider than the first two? Will move these images en masse over to Spiders for now...

Try....
Araneus saevus, or any Lichen or Giant Lichen Orb Weaver. I recently found a pair of females of the same size near my home. MASSIVE webs! Like walking into fishing line.

Araneus
Araneus diadematus, maybe?
