Length of final-instar larva ca. 5 mm; adult forewing length 3.0 to 3.5 mm.
Food
Larva in flowers of fabaceous plants, including Acacia farnesiana, Mimosa quadrivalvis, and Prosopis spp. Here recorded from fruit of the prairie legume, Desmanthus illinoensis.
