named after my colleague Vassili Belov, who provided most of the type series, in appreciation of his systematic efforts to collect Aderidae(1)

Range
TX-OK, FL (1), plus TN (BG data, det. Gompel 2022)

Type locality: Texas. Brazos County, 5 km SW Wellborn
