Clymene Moths - Haploa clymene

Clymene Moths - Haploa clymene
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
August 4, 2008
I've had quite a few of these Clymene moths at the lights lately, with up to a dozen at a time. Here's 2 that were close together.

Beautiful photo
It looks like a painting. This would make a great card for someone who would appreciate moths.

Thanks Stephen
Sometimes nature cooperates. I couldn't have arranged them better, except for maybe a better background.

Background
Actually, I think even the background is excellent. The whole thing looks like a carefully composed Japanese painting. Certainly one for the Bugguide photo calendar.
