Found her in some oak leaf litter I was turning. She blended in very well the environs!

This certainly is ...
... a member of the Ichneumonoidea, but I'm not convinced it is a braconid. My understanding is that in the Nearctic region, apterous braconids are cyclostomes (with concave labrums), which I cannot see in the one image of the front of the head. On the other hand, some ichneumonids are diapriid-like, in that the antenna arise from a frontal "ledge", like shown here. OTOH I'm not an Ichneumonoidea specialist, so maybe I'm not seeing things right, but I'll move these images to the superfamily level where hopefully someone else with more experience can take a shot.
