Calycomyza platyptera?? or is this the Astrotischeria? I've never seen that one at earlier stages of mine development.

There doesn't seem to be a parasitoid in the vial you sent. There is some tiny object in there, but it isn't an insect.

Sorry for the false insect in a vial--I thought I'd seen a parasitoid in there, but then it must have rotted before I had a chance to put it in the vial.

I strongly suspect this is Ca
I strongly suspect this is Calycomyza platyptera--only a parasitoid emerged from specimens I collected. I wondered if this is a plausible guess?
