Catabenoides terminellus
Moth sent to Chuck Harp.

Looks like Sympistis
Normally I would say, if Chuck Harp provided an ID, to go ahead and move to species. However, in this case, I think this moth looks more like Sympistis atricollaris. Catabenoides terminellus typically has substantial dark anal shading at the junction of the inner margin and outer margin. It also does not have a pale spot in the area of the reniform that is highlighted by the dark longitudinal FW streaks as is showing on this moth. The entire thorax, including the collar of terminellus is a unicolorous gray, whereas the black longitudinal streak of atricollaris wraps around the lower end of the thoracic collar with a white median band on the collar as appears to be the case with this moth. If it were not for Chuck's determination, I would have placed to atricollaris, but will just have to move it to Oncocnemidinae for now.
