Platynota idaeusalis - female

Platynota idaeusalis - Female
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
July 29, 2022
Size: 8mm
The larva is believed to have pupated on 07/22 due to an absence of feeding damage and frass but again this was not directly observed. Photo is of the pupa extracted from a folded host plant leaf roughly a week later. Looks to be a female.
