Tiny Triceratops Beetle - Odonteus thoracicornis

Tiny Triceratops Beetle - Odonteus thoracicornis
Moccasin Lake, Winston, Douglas County, Georgia, USA
August 18, 2008
Size: about 6 mm
I started not to even bother photographing this one, mainly due to the large numbers of his larger kin. But seeing how tiny it was I decided to. I'm glad I did because little did I realize that he had three horns, not visible to unaided eye. I briefly placed him in the freezer and was able to pose him for these images. He is all thawed out and trying to figure a way out of a zip lock bag. Any ideas as to his ID? Is it possibly Odonteus thoracicornis? I would very much welcome any thoughts on this guy.
