Crassipes -
not found in the WA checklist here:
http://www.tardigrade.org/natives/crawford/checklist.html
..but I don't know the range or synonyms for that species. You may well be right, but I'd love to know how you suggested a genus for this spider - other than
Pirata
or
Pardosa
, I have a really hard time telling lycosid genera apart from a dorsal image!

No
idea what this spider is.
Regarding synonyms though, every name that has ever been used is documented in
The World Spider Catalog
. Required material when using out-of-date lists like Crawford's. Doesn't take long for any list to get put behind.
As far as this animal goes, no guessing allowed. :-) I'm busy right now pulling out buried mis-id's from some species pages and it's a pain to track them all down. I found an entire species page here for a spider that, as far as I can find out so far, has never been recorded anywhere on this side of the planet. Photos have been sitting there for four years and other websites are referencing that page for their (mis)identification source.
Good luck!
