Habitat
"Very common native whitefly on manzanita throughout California. It is especially common along dirt roads, and frequently it can be seen from a moving vehicle" (Raymond J. Gill, in "Color-Photo and Host Keys to California Whiteflies").
Food
Host plants: "Ericaceae: Arctostaphylos glauca, Arctostaphylos manzanita, Arbutus menziesii, Arctostaphylos patula, Arctostaphylos pringle Parry ssp. pringlei, Arctostaphylos sp.(1)".
