Eurasia & Africa(2); in our area, nw. US (ID-WA-OR)(1)
Remarks
our only representative of the Old World tribe Sphenopterini Lacordaire 1857, that contains 4 genera (>1000 spp., all but a handful in Sphenoptera) worldwide (most diverse in Africa and the Mediterranean)(2)
