Missouri, USA
Found at the edge of our woods. He was still alive, but barely moving. Hopefully it doesn't die. Would love to know what this beautiful guy actually is.

Don't feel too bad...
...if it doesn't live, as your moth may just be suffering from "old age." Luna moths have very short adult lives; the adult moth is even incapable of feeding. They literally mate, lay eggs, and die.
