Abagrotis or Orthosia

Abagrotis or Orthosia
Victoria, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada
August 8, 2022
I think this may be an Abagrotis or maybe Orthosia. The markings are not prominent.

Frassed
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. This something under Noctuidae, however the glare on the moth is washing out most of the maculation and I am afraid it cannot be identified any further than this. It has been frassed and may eventually be removed from the guide.
