Somebody who sounded like he knew what he was talking about IDed one of my pictures as
C. hirticollis
based on the markings, writing "It is easy to tell by the upturned posthumeral mark, and complete fusion of the marginal band between the humeral markings and the middle band."
And that's about all I know about tiger beetles.
