Spreadwing - Enallagma

Spreadwing - Enallagma
Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California, USA
August 12, 2022
Size: 50 mm
I would like to know what species this damselfly is. Is it a spreadwing or a different damselfly. The photos may be of two separate individual insects, there were at least two and each time they landed their wings were spread and never folded or closed.
