Nice.
This image really shows the blunt-ended, lobed abdomen that is pretty diagnostic for the genus. Colors of dead chrysidids often get strange, like this specimen. In life, this species is bright metallic green or blue-green, no purple to be seen.

Actually all the specimens from this particular collecting spot look exactly like this, some color variation. I had 20 or so specimens ID by Lynn kimsey. quite an invasive species. All were a dark purple.
