Phymata fasciata - Phymata

Phymata fasciata - Phymata
Valdosta , Lowndes County, Georgia, USA
August 14, 2022
Size: .6cm
About .6cm long (size of pinky nail). Not skitish at all, but likes to remain upside down near leaf base. This location is near a swampy low residential area in the countryside. His back/top is flattish likke true bugs, with the shape of the "shield" being similar to the plant leaves (hibiscus, I think). Seems to stay on this plant.
