What kind of spider is this?

What kind of spider is this?
Greenville, Pitt County, North Carolina, USA
August 13, 2022
Size: 7mm
I've seen these a few times, always in the bathroom. The closest match I've found is Scotophaeus blackwalli. However, those don't seem to be found in Eastern US or Eastern NC. Also they seem to have thicker, shorter legs. The spider in my photo has long slender legs with black bands. It does seem to have the soft, velvety abdomen like S. Blackwalli. I'm guessing on size, but it was in the sink with legs drawn under it and was so tiny I thought it was a fire ant and tried to drown it. Then its legs moved and I realized it was a spider and rescued it. But what kind? It was found around 4:30 pm.
