I'd be interested to know whether this specimen is mounted on a card or whether it is on a pin with the pinhole digitally repaired. Thanks for posting.

Smaller mandibles, indeed.
Yes, females have smaller mandibles and a small tubercle on the clypeus. That tubercle is only very weakly evident in males at most, usually absent.
