Size: 6 mm
caught in a lindgren funnel trap, my first thought was in the Nitidulidae...

C, ampla?
this one looks to me like Cryptarcha ampla, a fairly common Nit in my backyard.

Nitidulid
Not familiar with the western nits so not sure of the genus.
