Tiny fly on bumble bee pollen ball -
Bombus vancouverensis
Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California, USA
July 28, 2022
Size: 1/4 inch
This tiny fly was feeding on the pollen ball held in the corbicula of a Bombus bifarius. Could this fly be a bumble bee pollen ball specialist?

Thanks for the confirmation of the bumble bee ID (B. vancouverensis = B. bifarius), but my ID request was for the fly on the pollen ball, not the bee.
