Meloid, perhaps Linsleya? - Lytta sublaevis

Meloid, perhaps Linsleya? - Lytta sublaevis
Off a dirt road east of Soda Lake Rd, south end of Carrizo Plains National Monument, San Luis Obispo County, California, USA
April 7, 2008
Note the two small spines visible at the base of the fore tibia (just right of center, in lower sixth of the photo). If I'm on the right track(?), then I think this is a male of Linsleya californica, based on the characters discussed in the keys on pp. 11-12 of "The Blister Beetle Genus, Linsleya".
