Beetle to ID if poss. - Otiorhynchus sulcatus
Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
June 23, 2005
Size: 1/2 inch
Found this pre historic looking beetle, would really like to know what it is. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Curculionidae: Otiorhynchus sulcatus
I think so, unless there is some other "pseudo-sulcatus" species in the Pacific Northwest. Sans antennae.

Otiorhynchus sulcatus?
Resembles Black Vine Beetle, Otiorhynchus sulcatus.
