Arizona Moth - Nychioptera opada

Arizona Moth - Nychioptera opada
Madera Canyon, Santa Cruz County, Arizona, USA
August 3, 2022
I'm venturing to place this specimen here, though no others currently have been placed in Bugguide. It matches well with the Chris Gintner pinned MPG specimen. The reniform spot is not filled with black as in the similar N. noctuidalis. Moreover it was found in Madera Canyon, Santa Rita Mts. AZ, where the holotype as described in the Bugguide Info was found. On a sheet with a Bioquip UV black light.
