We found these small yellow caterpillars on a string bean plant in our garden. What are they? I have attached two photos because I think one may be a different type of bug - I am not sure.

Aha! I think I have it
compare Mexican Bean Beetle (below).


The second image looks like they have pupated
you can see the shed spiky skin at the end of each pupa.

Not sure, but these could be beetles of some sort. The feeding pattern reminds me of skeletonizing leaf beetles.
