Size: 1.5 mm
These were found on soybean leaves. Alternate dark and light brown markings along the side of the abdomen are a unique character to identify them. These nymphs are just hatched 1st instars.

I did some more looking, and now I suspect that these (and the other submission I mentioned in my first comment) might be Euschistus hatchlings:



I'll let the experts make that call, though.

I'm not convinced...
The first instar H. halys nymphs we have in the guide have a different look to them. The background color is generally a deep, solid yellow to orange, and the black marks on the periphery of the abdomen and fewer and longer:



I think yours are something else. They're very similar to this submission, which I placed on the "unidentified eggs and hatchlings" page:
